Agreement to Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Lodge & Move website, mobile experiences, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account, browsing listings, or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
Our Services
Lodge & Move provides an online marketplace connecting guests with short-term rental properties and users with chauffeur-driven ride services. We facilitate discovery, booking, and communication but are not the owner of listed properties or vehicles unless explicitly stated.
Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract to use the Platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
Bookings and Payments
When you submit a booking request or complete a reservation, you authorize us and our partners to process the transaction according to the listing details, fare rules, and any applicable fees displayed at checkout. Prices, availability, and booking conditions may change until a booking is confirmed.
Payment terms, cancellation windows, refunds, and no-show policies may vary by listing or service type and will be communicated during the booking process.
User Conduct
You agree not to:
- use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes;
- misrepresent your identity or booking intent;
- interfere with platform security or attempt unauthorized access;
- post false, misleading, or harmful content;
- harass hosts, drivers, agents, staff, or other users.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Listings, Hosts, and Drivers
Property owners, agents, and chauffeurs are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, compliance with local laws, and delivery of agreed services. Lodge & Move may verify listings or users but does not guarantee the condition of every property or vehicle.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation and refund eligibility depend on the specific booking policy selected or displayed for each shortlet or ride. Unless otherwise required by law, service fees may be non-refundable. Disputes should be reported promptly through our support channels.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lodge & Move is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or any booking. Our total liability for a claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking through the Platform, except where prohibited by law.
Intellectual Property
All Platform content, branding, software, and design elements are owned by Lodge & Move or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit Platform materials without prior written permission.
Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information.
Changes and Governing Law
We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page. Material changes will apply from the date posted unless otherwise stated. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
